September 2026 — SOFT SPACE has expanded Fasspos, its in-flight retail and payment platform for HK Express, with real-time onboard inventory and in-seat ordering. Cabin crew can now see and sell inventory across all connected point-of-sale (POS) devices on board, while passengers can place orders directly from their own phone, tablet or laptop without waiting for a service round.
The connected POS devices now share a real-time view of onboard inventory, giving cabin crew visibility of stock across the aircraft rather than only what is available on an individual device. This allows crew to sell based on the total inventory available on board, helping reduce situations where an item appears unavailable on one POS while stock remains available elsewhere.
With in-seat ordering, passengers can browse and place orders from their personal devices while seated. Orders are sent directly to cabin crew, who bring the requested items to the passenger and complete payment at the seat.
Together, these capabilities extend the digital in-flight retail experience across both sides of the onboard transaction. This benefits both crew and passenger as the crew has a more complete view of available stock, while passengers can purchase without waiting for the service trolley.
The latest rollout builds on the partnership between SOFT SPACE and HK Express, following the introduction of offline Alipay in-flight payments in December 2025, delivered with Alipay powered by Antom.
