July 2026 – SOFT SPACE is powering Tap to Pay on iPhone for two major players across Southeast Asia, Grab in Singapore and NTT DATA Payment Services in Malaysia, enabling merchants to accept contactless payments directly on their iPhone without any additional hardware. 

In Singapore, the capability is available through the GrabMerchant app, allowing Grab’s merchant-partners to accept all forms of contactless payments including credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets. 

In Malaysia, the same capability is delivered through the ADAPTIS Tap to Pay app by NTT DATA Payment Services, supporting Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, MyDebit, and other digital wallets. Both solutions are PCI MPoC-certified and require no investment in physical terminals. 

These deployments extend SOFT SPACE’s SoftPOS coverage across both Android and iOS, reinforcing its position as the technology partner enabling device-agnostic, software-defined payment acceptance across the region.
